Goons. The term Goon is what I refer to as a cop who practises brutality, often on a regular basis. A Goon's character is that of a bully, a coward, a liar, and a moron. The Goon does the unthinkable, and often has no regrets about it. The Goon's intelligence level is low, as is the Goon's sense of reasoning. The Goon is sadistic, and when upset,  resorts to physical brutality. The Goon is morally disengaged, lacks compassion, and suffers guilt.

 The rookie Goon, in particular, is all pumped up and cherishes the thought of slapping brand new 'cuffs on some drunk, all the while inspired by the veteran Goon cops, who are all too eager to show this new rookie a few new tricks, and to hand down their profound knowledge and experience. This Goon is likely not suited for this type of work, given his hair-trigger temper, character and attitude, and should reconsider a police officer career. If this Goon really wants to stay on, however, then this Goon has to consider taking an anger management course. If that and other measures are not sufficient, then the best alternative for this Goon is to simply quit the force, before this Goon actually hurts someone.
